Program Description:
Pianist Stephen Porter presents a program of masterpieces by Chaminade, Beethoven, Chopin, and the premiere of Andrew List’s monumental “Le Pont Universel” (The Universal Bridge).
Mr. Porter performs this season in Paris, New York, Chicago, Boston and San Francisco, and with Grammy award winning artists Krista River, Ilana Davidson and Dashon Burton.
General Information
Concert Hour is a music enrichment series presented for our students and the community by the Palomar College Performing Arts Department. Doors open at 12:50pm, with seating on a first-come first-served basis. The program begins at 1:00pm and ends at approximately 2:00pm. At the discretion of the house manager, late arrivals will be admitted during the first performance pause. There is no charge for admission. Patrons are urged to allow sufficient time to secure parking and reach the performance venue before the concert begins. Palomar College is located at 1140 W. Mission Rd. in San Marcos.
Performances will be held in the Performance Lab (D10), unless otherwise noted by “(HBT)” Performances held in the Howard Brubeck Theatre.
Free parking, no charge for admission.
