Palomar Performing Arts Kicking off Spring With ‘A Wrinkle In Time’

Palomar College officials recently announced that they would be resuming their plays via Zoom. To start off the spring semester, the Howard Brubeck Theatre at Palomar has announced that its next play will be “A Wrinkle In Time,” directed by Michael Mufson and movement by Molly Faulkner.

“A Wrinkle In Time” follows the journey of Meg Murray, a teenage girl who takes on an adventure through space and time to rescue her scientist father. With her brother Charles Wallace and her friend Calvin O’Keefe by her side, they encounter an adventure to another planet to defeat the dark forces and save the universe from evil.

Recently, callbacks for the play took place in the Howard Brubeck Theatre, and the four-hour rehearsals started on Feb. 8.

The play will premier live via Zoom starting at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 19. The following shows will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 20 and 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 21.
