Devin Burnworth HeadshotDevin Burnworth’s experiences on the stage, in the recording studio, and in the Broadway pit orchestra have crossed boundaries from classical and commercial music to corporate events. He is equally at home in symphony orchestras, brass quintets, and other chamber music ensembles. From company gatherings to educational outreaches, Devin prioritizes musical expression, whether playing alto, tenor, or bass trombone. Having performed with members of the San Diego Symphony to the New York Philharmonic, Devin can be found on stages across Southern California. He is a member of local Musicians Unions 325, 47, and 7.

Devin loves working with students of all ages. He is currently adjunct trombone faculty at Palomar College. His students have won professional orchestra auditions, have been accepted at universities and high-level conservatories across the country, and have earned chairs at all-state competitions. From beginner to adult, Devin empowers his students through structure, fundamentals, and expressive creativity while improving their mental focus and technical proficiency.
