As soon as the weather warms up and finals are coming to an end, we all delve into the deep abyss of our closets to drag out the swimsuits that haven’t seen the light of day for quite some time.

Living in San Diego, we buy and wear a lot of swimsuits. But for some reason, swimsuits are ridiculously expensive. The question that plagues every girl while swimwear shopping is: why does such a small amount of fabric cost more than an entire outfit?

Here are some cheap places to buy swimsuits for Summer Sixteen:

1. H&M.

With the introduction of Balmain x H&M, it’s easy to forget that H&M was once a place that sold swimsuits for $5.Yes, you can buy a complete bikini set for $10. Most bikini pieces sell for an average of $12.99, and there is a huge range of styles for all body types. With all that extra cash in your pocket, you can spring for a cute pair of sunglasses and cut-off shorts.

2. Target

No, Target is not just a place for suburban moms to buy bed sheets, it’s also a place that offers the most stylish and hottest styles in swimwear. Target offers a wide range or styles from tankini’s to bandeaus’s at $12.48 per piece. Right now, Target is doing a “Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off” sale on swimwear, so get the style you want before it’s sold out.

3. Old Navy

Old Navy is the perfect mix of cheap and simple, while still providing you with comfort and support for those long beach days. Prices start as low at $7 for bikini bottoms and $45 for one-pieces. If you want a fresh, simple, and comfortable bathing suit, Old Navy is the place for you.

Remember that after every wear, you should rinse off your bathing suit in the sink and hang it up to dry for maximum bikini life-span and to keep the colors looking vibrant.
