  • WORKSHOP: Connecting Your Way to an Internship – Workshop participants will gain knowledge about the: Internship process, added value in paving a career pathway and advantages an internship affords a student. – 4pm, SU-17 (Career Center)
  • Skin Cancer Awareness Event (ESCONDIDO CAMPUS) – April and May are Skin Cancer Awareness months and the Health Services Centers are offering FREE Skin Cancer Screening Exams for students. Please call the Health Centers to make an appointment. Stop by our booth in the Escondido Center Main Lobby to learn about Skin Cancer prevention and detection. – 5:45pm-6:45pm, Main Lobby (Escondido Campus)

  • Inter-Club Council (ICC) Meeting – Meetings are every Tuesday! – 12:30pm-1:30pm, SU-204
  • Grab N’ Go Event! – Find the traveling green cart, check out upcoming events and enjoy a free snack with your Spring 2015 Student Activities Card (while supplies last). Hosted by the Office of Student Affairs. – 10am, SU Cart

  • Free Skin Screening Exams – The Health Services Centers are offering free Skin Screening Exams to students during Skin Cancer Awareness months in April and May. Students can schedule their screening appointment with the physician or nurse practitioner by calling (760) 744-1150, extension 2380 – 9am, Health Services Center
  • Free Skin Screening Exams (ESCONDIDO CAMPUS) – The Health Services Centers are offering free Skin Screening Exams to students during Skin Cancer Awareness months in April and May.   • WORKSHOP: LinkedIn I – These workshops will be interactive with hands-on experience in creating a Resume, Cover Letter and adding a resume online by creating a LinkedIn profile. You will be ready to apply for jobs upon completing the workshop series. – 2pm, SU-17 (Career Center)

  • CONCERT HOUR: Palomar/YPO Percussion Ensemble – Directed by Heather Barclay, the Palomar/YPO Ensemble presents a program of invigorated compositions featuring a wide variety of percussion instruments and styles. – 12:30pm, Howard Brubeck Theatre

  • Free HIV Testing – Free & confidential HIV testing is offered at the Health Center today by appointment only. Testing is provided by Vista Community Clinic and all participants will receive an incentive! Please call to make an appointment: (760) 744-1150, extension 2380. – 9am-12pm, Health Services Center (HC Building)
  • ESL WORKSHOP: English Nouns – What is a proper noun? What is a common noun? How do you make a singular noun plural? How do you count a noncount noun? Do you know how to make a verb become a noun? Do you know we have proxies for nouns? What does a noun do in an English sentence, anyway? If you are intrigued by these questions or if you need a review of English nouns, come to this free workshop! – 11am, H-118 (ESL Computer Lab)
