Another week, another couple of comfortable victories for Comet’s basketball as the now 22-3 women’s team defeated San Diego City College at home, 71-35, on February 11 before traveling to Grossmont College on Friday where they were able vanquish the Griffins, 90-65. Palomar guard Keisha Cox led the way, going 9-13 from the field for 17 pts. in Friday’s game.
With just two games left in their season until playoffs begin, Palomar will look to continue the high-level of performance they’ve had all season and recapture the PCAC conference title for the first time since 2012/2013.
