The Palomar College Men’s basketball team finished its season with a 11-17 record.
During the season, the Comets struggled with being out-rebounded but continued to play hard in every game. The Comets defeated their North County rival MiraCosta College both times they met within the season.
According to the men’s basketball website the team said its goodbyes to four sophomores: Derick Jones, Aaron Roedl, Marley Simmons and Josiah Dennis, all four who played on last year’s Pacific Coast Athletic Conference championship team. Comets guard Derick Jones, was voted No. 4 to the All-Pacific Coast Athletic Conference North first team.
Freshman forward Jeremy Franklin and Comets guard Aaron Roedi were selected to the second team.
