Parking Permits Are Back For Spring 2022

SAN MARCOS – Parking permits are back for Spring 2022.

According to an email sent by the Office of the President, Parking permits are now available to purchase for the Spring 2022 semester. Students can now purchase a parking permit via their MyPalomar Student Portal.

Spring 2022 parking permits are $46 normally and $26 for students with a California College Promise Grant (CCPG) Waiver. According to the MyPalomar Student Portal, The CCPG Waiver, also formally known as the Board Of Governors Fee Waiver, is for students that are California residents, eligible AB 540 students, eligible AB 1899 students, and homeless youth. Students that are eligible can sign up for a CCPG waiver on their MyPalomar Student Portal.

Parking permits will be required by March 8 to park on the main campus and at all Education Centers. These parking permits are digital and students do not need a sticker or parking placards on their vehicles. With digital parking permits, students will have their license plates associated with their parking permits. Students can have up to five vehicles registered with their parking permit.

Students can park anywhere in student parking lots without a parking permit up until March 7, 2022.

For any questions regarding parking permits, students can contact Candy Santos at csantos@palomar.edu or Shellsea Divine at sdivine@paloamr.edu.
