The first step to improving your health is to get a good exercise routine. These exercises include push-ups, sit-ups, squats, jogging, walking, jumping jacks and stretching. All of these warmups will help to improve your health, as well as helping you to be in better shape. These exercises will help with improvement, in a way where you will build muscle and strength.

The National Institute on Aging discusses top four types of exercise that will boost your health and strength, which includes endurance, strength, flexibility and balance.

These exercises are beneficial, in a way where you will be stronger to have less risks of any injuries and reduce boredom, the institute says.

The second step to be on a better path to health and wellness is eating protein. This includes vegetables. The types of vegetables that help your health include spinach, broccoli, carrots, as well as cabbage, brussels sprouts, or any green veggies will have a big improvement in your wellness, as well as improving your shape.

MyPlate discusses the top important reasons to eat vegetables that contain protein. The article provides a description of the nutrients that the vegetables contain “important sources of many nutrients, including potassium, dietary fiber, folate (folic acid) and vitamin C.”

The third step towards a healthier diet is eating plenty of fruits. This includes apples, oranges, strawberries, berries, and watermelons. MyPlate indicates that “dietary fiber from fruits, as part of an overall healthy diet, helps reduce blood cholesterol levels and may lower risk of heart disease.”

The fourth step is to make sure you get plenty of sleep. Making sure you are getting plenty of rest is one of the most important factors when it comes to improving your health and mood. You should get at least eight hours of sleep.

The last step is to drink enough water, about eight glasses a day. One of the most important reasons that it “delivers oxygen throughout the body” since blood is made up mostly of water. It also helps maintain normal blood pressure.
