Palomar’s on campus radio station, KKSM AM 1320 is partnering with a MiraCosta music technology and multimedia arts club to promote student talent on air.
The club, Project Podcast aims at exposing on campus talent as well as local North County talent through Public Service Announcements (PSA) which will air on KKSM.
Club chair and Palomar student, Katherine Robershaw said the club is currently accepting submissions for talent and material.
“Open casting submissions are being accepted for songwriters that would like to feature their (original) music in a PSA,” Robershaw said.
The Project Podcast club is also expanding their search for talent and looking for actors, videographers, and photo journalists who may be able to contribute their editing talents to the PSAs which will run on air.
“Our mission is to produce the PSAs as well as concerts for (local) causes in podcast/vodcast form,” Robershaw said.
