Tarde de Familia: An evening for our families

Palomar College officials plan to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Tarde de Familia: An Evening for Our Families Oct. 16, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Palomar College Industrial Technology Center.

Tarde de Familia is an event that coincides with this year’s Hispanic Heritage Month. The purpose is to bring students and families together Hispanic representatives from several college departments and programs.

Grupo Maginfico, an all-volunteer group on campus consisting of staff and students have organize the event. The event will showcases programs and resources available to assist underrepresented students at Palomar College. Presentations are conducted entirely in Spanish.
