SAN MARCOS — Palomar College is holding its twice-yearly Club Rush, a two-day club recruiting event taking place on campus Sept. 8-9.

The two-day event will occupy the quad with tents and tables, exhibiting each club attending. With over 17 clubs at Palomar, Club Rush provides an opportunity for them to recruit and inform fellow students of their purpose.

The event gives a place and time for students to engage their interests, chat with leadership and clubs, and become involved.

“Getting involved on campus is a major component to a college experience,” said Lindsay Kretchman, activities coordinator on campus. According to Kretchman, Club Rush is the perfect chance to “jump in” and get a feel for college lifestyle.

Club Rush will be held on the open quad area in front of the Student Union Sept 8-9 at 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. For more information, contact http://www.palomar.edu/asg/.
