Palomar College women’s volleyball team defeated Southwestern in all three sets at the Pacific Coast Athletic Conference match on Wednesday night in the Jaguar’s gym.

According to a press release from Palomar College, the scores were 24-14, 24-14, 24-13.

The game had eight kills and two blocks by Maci Lerno and six kills each from Rylee Zimmerman, Rachel McFarland, and Madi Stark. Aspen Leudtke also made 25 assists and five aces.

The Comets won four out of five their most recent matches and have been ranked No. 14 for three consecutive weeks. The team did not receive a ranking this week because they were defeated by Mt. San Jacinto last week, but they are hoping to make a comeback in the California Community College Women’s Volleyball Coaches Association state poll.
