In Times Square, brightly lit with neon lights, the Disney store invites those who await the magic within. Two stories to explore reveal particular products not available in California’s Disney store, such as exclusive character plushies and New York themed Disney merchandise. The escalators to the second floor are decorated with floating lights from Tangled.
Upstairs, life size Storm Troopers protect an AT-AT model and Star Wars merchandise. Movie clips are playing on a large screen and a princess castle holds royal Disney gifts. Magical Mornings with Mikayla hosts College of Disney Knowledge on KKSM AM 1320, but during this trip, it was my turn to be quizzed with Disney Trivia. Here are the questions asked by a Cast Member of the store, followed by answers!
- How many ghosts are in the Haunted Mansion ride in the Disney parks? -999 and always room for one more.
- Which Disney Pixar character has a short and is featured in a Disney Pixar movie? -Geri from Geri’s Game had a cameo role in Toy Story 2 as the toy repairman who fixed Woody.
- Which Disney Princess only sings duets but does not have a solo song? -Princess Jasmine from Aladdin.
- There are 24 Disney movies with 1 word titles. What are they? -A special note on this one, I’ve discovered that there are at least 28 Disney movies with one-word titles.
