SAN MARCOS (October 22, 2013) – Palomar College has been designated as a top “Military-Friendly” school by two highly-regarded military publications, G.I. Jobs Magazine andMilitary Advanced Education (MAE), Journal of Higher Learning for Today’s Servicemember.

This is the fourth consecutive year G.I. Jobs Magazine has ranked Palomar as “Military-Friendly.”  For 2013, this places Palomar “in the top 15% of all schools nationwide.”

Palomar College will be listed in MAE’s 2014 Guide to Military-Friendly Colleges & Universities, which will be featured in the publication’s December issue.

“We are very proud of all of our veterans, and of the high quality of veterans’ services Palomar College has offered for decades,” said Palomar College Superintendent/President Bob Deegan. “It is an honor to have Palomar College recognized as military-friendly by these two important publications.”
