Discover the Plants of Palomar College Walking Tour with Tony Rangel

The tour will begin in front of the Boehm Gallery and end at the Arboretum. Free parking for attendees is available only in Lots 5 and 3B. Those who park in other lots are required to purchase a $5 pass from a parking lot machine or to obtain a visitor’s pass from the Campus Police.

Why:

To explore the current diverse selection of plants on campus, some Palomar College plant history and to discuss issues such as endangered species of plants, and more.

How:
Mr. Rangel will talk about the great diversity of the plants on campus. He will touch on some history of where the plants came from, information about endangered plants, how often plants have been moved or trimmed and the reasons for having such a diverse collection of plants on a community college campus.

Suggestions:
Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a bottle of water, wear sunscreen, hat & sunglasses.

All who wish to attend. This event  is free and open to the public.
