Details:
Hosted by the Association of Latinos and Allies for Student Success (ALASS), Tarde de Familia is a biannual event designed to educate Latino students and their families. The program features Latino professionals in the community who share their stories of overcoming adversity to achieve their educational and career goals. Presentations will be in Spanish.

This semester’s event is focused on the field of Health Services and features the following special guest speakers:

Jeffrey Reynoso, DRPH, MPH, Executive Director, Latino Coalition for a Healthy California

Iliana A. Martinez, RN, BSN, Labor and Delivery Nurse, Kaiser Permanente

In addition to hearing from these professionals, those attending will have the opportunity to network with representatives from the various academic, student services and support programs available at Palomar College.

Complimentary dinner will be served.

Parking:
Parking will be available in Lots 1 and 2 without a permit during the hours of the event.
