It isn’t too late for students to register for the final summer session at Palomar College.  The last 4-week session of courses begins on July 24.  Students can find open classes at the Palomar class finder webpage.  The 4-week classes are an ideal approach for students to pursue finishing graduation requirements early and completing a degree or certificate faster.

The fall semester begins on August 21 and registration is open for hundreds of courses in a variety of fields including accounting, welding, marketing, auto technology, history, performing arts, computer science and technology, to name only a few.  Courses are offered onsite, online and in hybrid format.

Palomar College offers a number of ways for students to get assistance with registration and planning their educational path.  Students can meet with counselors in-person, by Zoom or phone.  In-person appointments are held at the main campus in San Marcos and at the Escondido, Fallbrook, and Rancho Bernardo education centers.  The schedule of appointments is available at the Counseling department website.

The College also established Comets Launch into Registration sessions earlier this summer.  These sessions are designed to help students begin their education planning, learn about the flexible course schedule, and easily identify courses that are specific to their intended degree or certificate.  A schedule of Comets Launch into Registration sessions is available at this webpage.

“We are seeing a renewed enthusiasm of students pursuing their degree or certificate at Palomar College, said Dr. Star Rivera-Lacey, Superintendent/President of Palomar College.  “Our students are able to take courses onsite, online and in a hybrid format.  With busy lifestyles and commitments to work and family, our course schedule gives students the flexibility they need to achieve their goals”.

Students are able to find open classes for Fall by visiting the Palomar MyClassFinder.
