SAN MARCOS (July 15, 2014) – The enrollment process is going strong at Palomar College, where the fall semester begins August 18. College officials encourage new and returning students to enroll early, while space is still available in a wide range of classes.
In addition to the College’s San Marcos location, classes are offered at Palomar’s Escondido Education Center, along with sites at Camp Pendleton, Fallbrook, Pauma, and the newly-reopened site at Mt. Carmel High School.
The Humanities Building, centrally located on the San Marcos campus, is a welcome new presence at Palomar College. Newly opened for summer classes, the building provides spacious, state-of the-art facilities. The 90,000-square-foot, three-story building houses the following disciplines: English/Humanities, English as a Second Language, Reading, World Languages, Speech/Forensics/American Sign Language, and Journalism.
California community college fees remain the most affordable higher education option at $46 a unit. Palomar College offers more than 300 associate degree and certificate programs, and has classes offered in a variety of formats, including traditional, online, video and Fast Track.
