Which group best describes your experience with Japanese?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Group 1<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Japanese Language for Beginners, and Non-Heritage Speakers of Japanese<\/strong><br>Students who are learning Japanese language for the first time, Adult learners of Japanese, Second-language learners of Japanese, Non-native speakers of Japanese. Students who did not speak Japanese in their childhood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students who have not taken any college-level course work in Japanese language. OR<br>Students who completed one (1) year of high-school Japanese and earned a C or better.<br>Your placement is:<br><strong>Japanese 101<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students who have earned a C or better in first-semester Japanese language in college. OR<br>Students who completed two (2) years of high-school Japanese and earned a C or better.<br>Your placement is:<br><strong>Japanese 102<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students who have earned a C or better in second-semester Japanese language in college. OR<br>Students who completed three (3) years of high-school Japanese and earned a C or better.<br>Your placement is:<br><strong>Japanese 201<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students who have earned a C or better in third-semester Japanese language in college. OR<br>Students who completed four (4) years of high-school Japanese and earned a C or better.<br>Your placement is:<br><strong>Japanese 202<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students who have or have not taken any college-level or high-school course work in Japanese <br>language and would like to take the Japanese Culture and Literature course<br>Your placement is:<br><strong>Japanese 130<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Group 2<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Advanced Placement Exams<\/strong><br>Students who have taken the Advanced Placement (AP) Exam in Japanese language and received a score of 3 or<br>higher.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For students who have taken the AP Exam called \u201cJapanese Language and Culture\u201d and earned a score of 3 or higher.<br>Your placement is:<br><strong>Japanese 202<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Have you learned Japanese language another way?
