WELCOME TO GCIP 252

This is a three unit, sixteen week class in which students will study advanced concepts and methods of Adobe Illustrator and its use in graphic illustrations and problem solving. Students will also study the software capabilities for use in preparing computer files for publishing to digital and electronic delivery systems. Projects will focus not only on the application of Illustrator tools and techniques, but also on effective visual communication based on the principles of graphic design. Students will create portfolio pieces as they take their digital illustration skill sto the next level. There will be many opportunities to select projects and make design goals.
