If either parent has obtained an Associates degree, you are still eligible as a First-Generation college student<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registered with Palomar&#8217;s Disability Resource Center (DRC)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Meet the income eligibility based on Federal TRIO Guidelines (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ed.gov\/grants-and-programs\/grants-higher-education\/federal-trio-programs\/federal-trio-programs-current-year-low-income-levels\">Income Guidelines<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enrolled in 12 units or more, unless you are a part of the Disability Resource Center at Palomar College (9 units)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Not registered with Palomar College&#8217;s EOPS program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate academic need as determined by the TRIO SSS program director<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have the desire to earn a certificate, associate&#8217;s degree, or transfer to a 4-year university<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Student Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>To maintain eligibility in the program students must meet the following requirements <strong>each semester<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Meet with the TRIO SSS academic counselor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend one campus workshops<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete a financial literacy training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete a financial aid workshop<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=63ih38oQwECWZ_RzLzOB_uEx474IBURBp0G9DHBqm0VUNEpMVFU5RUZFWjNZWkU3MTAxNzZERTY2QyQlQCN0PWcu\"><strong>Submit an Interest Form<\/strong><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>After you submit the interest form, you will be contacted by a TRIO SSS staff member within 3-5 business days. Students who meet eligibility requirements for the program will receive a TRIO SSS application.
