Admissions & Records<\/strong><\/span><\/a> SSC-49, ext. 2164 All students must submit an application for admission in order to attend Palomar College. The Student Records and Evaluations areas are responsible for maintaining academic records, enforcing academic regulations, and awarding degrees and certificates.<\/span><\/p>\n

Athletics<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 O-10, Ext. 2460 The intercollegiate athletics program at Palomar College is one of the most comprehensive and diverse among the California Community Colleges, featuring 21 varsity sports programs and over 450 student participants annually.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bookstore<\/span><\/a> Services<\/span><\/a> <\/strong>SU Building, Ext. 2220 The Palomar College Bookstore provides print and digital textbooks for sale and\/or rent.<\/span><\/p>\n

CalWORKs Program<\/span><\/a> <\/strong>AA-141, Ext.2449 The CalWORKs Program at Palomar College assists students who are receiving welfare and those who are transitioning from welfare to long-term self-sufficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n

Career Center<\/span><\/a><\/strong> SU-17, Ext. 2194 The Career Center provides students with career resources that assist them in making better informed career decisions and\/or major selections that lead to satisfying employment (professional and\/or technical).<\/span><\/p>\n

Cashier Services<\/span><\/a> <\/strong>A-2, Ext. 2114 The Cashier Services Office processes student payments for enrollment, tuition, parking permits, optional fees, holds, and fines.<\/span><\/p>\n

Child Development Center<\/strong> <\/span><\/a>CDA Bldg in San Marcos Campus, Ext.2575 & Escondido Center, Ext. 8155 The Child Development Instruction and Services Center is a toddler and preschool program lab school.<\/span><\/p>\n

Counseling Services<\/strong><\/span><\/a> SSC-24, (760) 891-7511 Academic, career, and personal counseling related to academic success are provided in the Counseling Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

Disability Resource Center (DRC)<\/strong><\/span><\/a> DSP&S Bldg., Ext. 2375 DRC provides counseling services and instruction for those with physical, learning, vision, hearing, communication, and psychological disabilities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Extended Opportunity Programs & Services (EOPS) and C.A.R.E<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. AA-141, Ext. 2449 EOPS is a state-funded program designed to provide support benefits to students who are financially and educationally disadvantaged. CARE provides additional services to EOPS students who are single parents and receiving CalWORKs or TANF.<\/span><\/p>\n

Financial Aid & Scholarship Services<\/strong><\/span><\/a> SSC-50, (760) 891-7510 Financial aid programs at\u00a0 Palomar College are available to minimize students’ financial burden including state funds, federal funds, and scholarship opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Health Services<\/strong><\/span><\/a> HC Bldg., Ext. 2380 Health Services provides easy access to initial primary care, health education, and wellness programs at the San Marcos Campus and the Escondido Center.<\/span><\/p>\n

Library Services<\/strong><\/span><\/a> Learning Resource Center (LRC), Ext. 2612 The Palomar College Library has a collection of over 110,000 titles including books, periodicals, journals, videos, CDs, DVDs, and audio-cassettes.<\/span><\/p>\n

Student Affairs<\/strong><\/span><\/a> SU-201, Ext. 2594 The Office of Student Affairs is a very valuable resource for students that includes extra-curricular activities, Associated Student Government (ASG), clubs, student discipline, and commencement.<\/span><\/p>\n

Transfer Center<\/strong><\/span><\/a> SSC-24A, Ext. 2552 The Transfer Center provides up-to-date information regarding successful transfer to all four-year universities.<\/span><\/p>\n

TRIO Programs<\/strong><\/span><\/a> TCB -1, Ext. 2761 TRIO\/Student Support Services at Palomar College is designed to provide support services to potential transfer level college students.<\/span><\/p>\n
