Palomar Women’s Soccer Scores with New Coach

Palomar College has named the new women’s soccer head coach. Chelsea Davis will now lead the Comets after spending her career as an assistant coach.

Before starting at Palomar, Davis coached for two years at the University of San Francisco. She then traveled south to coach the San Diego Surf, a local competitive club team.

Originally from Northern California, Davis started playing competitive soccer when she was 13. After high school, she chose to continue her athletic career and attend the University of Houston. She later transferred to Fresno State University where she finished college.

After college, she played soccer semi-professionally in Sweden and then coached the Australian Reserves U20 team at the University of Sydney. She then traveled back to California where she returned to Fresno State, but this time as a coach.

Davis is excited to start building her team and believes Palomar is a great location to do that.
