DESCRIPTION:The Palomar Wildlife Club is excited to welcome Hannah St. John from the San Diego Bird Alliance! \nLearn about two special species of birds that are local to San Diego County: The Ridgway’s Rail and California Least Tern! \nAttendees will have the opportunity to learn about the habitats\, behaviors\, and conservation challenges facing these endangered coastal birds. This presentation will explore how wetlands and shoreline ecosystems support these fantastic bird species and why protecting these environments is essential to their survival. DESCRIPTION:Ever wondered what it’d be like to intern at NASA? Join us on Monday\, April 6th from 3:20pm-4pm to hear from two former Palomar students\, Unity Listiak and Ethan Grant\, who transferred to UCSD and CSUSM. Hear about what the transfer process was like for them\, ask questions about their majors\, and find out what it was like for them to intern at NASA! \nThis will be a hybrid event\, so if you can’t make it in person\, don’t worry! You will be able to attend the event virtually via Zoom at 3:20pm. \nAll are welcome to attend! The transfer process information can be useful to anyone\, regardless of major or pathway. Hope to see you there! \nRegistration for this event is not required. \n
