One recommended video is <a title=\"Silent Beats\" href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=76BboyrEl48\" target=\"_top\">Silent Beats<\/a>, a short 6-minute YouTube video about people&#8217;s assumptions and stereotypes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style12\">PBS has many great videos online. For video of specific PBS shows that offer many videos of interest to sociologists and sociology students, see the following:<\/p>\n<p class=\"style12\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wgbh\/pages\/frontline\/\">FRONTLINE<\/a> videos<\/p>\n<p class=\"style12\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/pov\/\">POV<\/a> videos<\/p>\n<p class=\"style12\">Some of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ted.com\/index.php\/talks\">TEDTalks<\/a> are of great interest to sociologists and sociology students. Click <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ted.com\/talks\/lang\/eng\/sam_richards_a_radical_experiment_in_empathy.html\">HERE<\/a> to watch sociologist Sam Richards&#8217; talk titled &#8220;A Radical Experiment in Empathy.&#8221; There are more than 900 videos of TEDTalks available free on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ted.com\/\">TED.com<\/a> website.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style12\">You can find a wide assortment of thought-provoking debates at the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/intelligencesquaredus.org\/\">intelligence squared<\/a> website. When you get to the website, click on &#8220;Debates&#8221;\u00a0at the top of the page and then on &#8220;Past Debates&#8221; to see the long list of debates you can watch or listen to.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style12\">You will find some very thoughtful sociological analyses of videos and other images at the <a href=\"http:\/\/thesocietypages.org\/socimages\/\">Sociological Images<\/a> website and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thesociologicalcinema.com\/\">Sociological Cinema<\/a> website.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style12\">There are many free videos online at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucsd.tv\/ondemand\/\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.ucsd.tv\/ondemand\/<\/a>\u00a0Scroll down on the page that&#8217;s linked and you will see all of the topics they offer.
