DESCRIPTION:The League of Women Voters (LWV) emphasizes that voting is crucial for empowering citizens and defending democracy.\nElections affect every area of our daily lives\, including health care\, education\, taxation\, jobs and racial justice. By voting\, citizens can choose leaders whose values and priorities align with their own.  The LWV believes in empowering the next generation of voters because our youth are critical to the future health of our democracy. In a non-partisan way\, we will help students understand the power of their voices and the importance of civic participation \nDid you know that there is a CA Primary Election on June 2\, 2026? This will determine which candidates will be on the ballot in the November 3rd General Election. Voting is your voice!
