Learn from your instructor* about the Service Learning Assignment requirements for your class, and pick your Service Learning Site<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Browse through our Service Learning <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/servicelearning\/for-students\/list-of-community-partners\/\">List of Community Partners<\/a> to pick a service learning site that supports your academic, career, and\/or personal goals. If you would like to volunteer at a community organization that is not on this list, contact your professor to get approval.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>2. Before you begin your Service Learning hours:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Print and read the forms in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/servicelearning\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/95\/2023\/12\/Service-Learning-Packet-for-Students-2024-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Service Learning Packet for Students<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Meet with your Service Learning site supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Together, sign the Service Learning Agreement Form (p. 3).<\/li>\n<li>Turn in a copy of this form to your instructor.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/servicelearning\/online-registration-form-for-service-learning\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Online Registration Form for Service Learning<\/a> on our Service Learning website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>3. After completing your Service Learning hours:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Turn in your Service Learning Timesheet (p. 4) to your instructor.<\/li>\n<li>Complete the <a title=\"Online Completion Form for Service Learning\" href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/servicelearning\/online-completion-form-service-learning\/\">Online Completion Form for Service Learning <\/a>on the Service Learning website.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h5><em><strong>Our Service Learning Students do amazing work in our community!<\/strong><\/em><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">Visit our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/servicelearning\/scholarship\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Awards and Recognition page<\/a><span style=\"font-size: inherit\"> to learn about other recognition options you may be eligible for!<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">If you completed at least 15 hours of service per class in a single semester, you may request a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/servicelearning\/request-form-for-the-service-learning-certificate-of-completion\/\">Service Learning\u00a0Certificate\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><em>*NOTE: If you are doing Service Learning for more than one class, you must complete separate hours and assignments for each class. Please fill out two separate timesheets, two online registration forms, and two online completion forms. Using the same service hours for 2 classes is a &#8220;duplication of assignments,&#8221; which is a violation of academic integrity.
