Step 1. Contact the Rising Scholars (Transitions) Program Staff<\/strong> at (760) 744-1150 extension 2648 or at rise@palomar.edu<\/a>.  They will help connect you with resources, once your registration is complete (which you can do by following the Step 2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2. Apply to Palomar College <\/strong> Contact North County Educational Opportunity Center (NCEOC)<\/a> at (760) 744-1150 ext. 2434 or email them at nceoc@palomar.edu<\/a>. NCEOC will help you apply for Palomar College<\/a> and complete a financial aid application (FAFSA<\/a>). Visit TRIO NCEOC<\/a> for eligibility guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Formerly incarcerated Dreamers (people without U.S. residency documentation) are also encouraged to come to Palomar College and to join the Rising Scholars (Transitions) Program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, federal guidelines do not allow NCEOC to assist undocumented students; however, the Palomar College Dreamer Success Program<\/a> supports any Undocumented, AB-540 or DACA eligible students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3. Meet with a counselor<\/a> and create an Education Plan to determine the classes you need to take. <\/strong>For online information on adding classes, these instructions<\/a> can help students with enrolling in specific courses..<\/p>\n\n\n\n
