      Palomar College Rancho Bernardo Education Center is proud to offer a community room and\/or other center areas for your event.\u00a0 Whether it\u2019s a seminar, conference, or staff meeting, the center can fit your needs. You can view and request all RBEC rental areas at: https:\/\/www.facilitron.com\/rbec92127<\/a>.<\/p>\n

      The only way to request use of a district facility is by creating a Facilitron account and submitting a request online<\/a>. \u00a0If you need any assistance setting up an account and\/or in submitting a facility use request, you can contact Facilitron directly at:\u00a0support@facilitron.com<\/strong>, or by calling them at:\u00a0800-272-2962 ext 1<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      FAQs:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      What is the capacity of the Community Room?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The community room can accommodate up to 155 people and has approximately 2400 square ft.\u00a0 Renting half the community room space is also possible.<\/p>\n

      What other rooms and\/or areas can be rented at the Rancho Bernardo Education Center?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      You can view and request all RBEC rental areas at:\u00a0https:\/\/www.facilitron.com\/rbec92127<\/a>.<\/p>\n

      What setup options are available?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      The tables and chairs are arranged to your preference, please indicate setup preference at\u00a0facilitron.com<\/a>\u00a0under \u201cSetup Instruction\u201d and provide as many details as possible. We recommend uploading a diagram under \u201cDocuments.\u201d Contact the\u00a0EventsScheduler@palomar.edu<\/a>\u00a0or call 760-744-1150, Ext. 3450 if you need any assistance.<\/p>\n

      Can we bring food and drinks?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Yes, outside catering is allowed. Please include under \u201cSetup Instruction\u201d the number of tables to setup for catering items.<\/p>\n

      Can we use the computer\/projector in the Community Room?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Yes, computer\/projector use is available. You can connect your own laptop without Palomar credentials. If you need to login to a Palomar computer, you must work with our\u00a0Information Systems Department<\/a> for a temporary username\/password once your event has been approved.<\/p>\n

      If you require additional support from Information Services such as microphones (handheld, lapel, podium), computer, large screen monitor or aux cables, please submit the Audio Visual Events Equipment Request Form<\/a>. The form must be completed 2 weeks prior to the event. If your event is after hours or on a weekend, an overtime charge may be required.<\/p>\n

      What supplies do you provide?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      All supplies must be provided by the renter. Palomar College Rancho Bernardo Education Center is not responsible for providing tablecloths, supplies, copies, easels, props, or any other items for presentations.<\/p>\n

      How does the approval process work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Although the process of requesting\/approval\/management of facility use is digital, what\u2019s implemented on Facilitron remains the same as dictated by the Palomar Community College District\u2019s board policies on facility use.\u00a0 The district\u2019s administrative staff makes final decisions on all facility use requests.<\/p>\n

      How does the accounting process work?<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Facilitron will assist with the set-up of organization and user accounts along with verification of non-profit status (if applicable). Facilitron will also collect payment and proof of insurance (certificate of insurance) on Palomar Community College District\u2019s behalf.\u00a0 Payments can be submitted conveniently on Facilitron. Payment options include major credit cards, checks, ACH\/eCheck, and Paypal.
