If, however, you desire to transfer to a school in the UC system, out of state schools, or a private school, you MUST take courses to satisfy the IGETC pathway.*<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"GE_Breadth_Certification\"><\/span>GE Breadth Certification<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For the GE-Breadth Certification pathway, courses you must take include courses from<\/p>\n<p>Area A &#8211; English Language Communication and Critical Thinking<br \/>\nArea B &#8211; Scientific Inquiry and Quantitative Reasoning<br \/>\nArea C &#8211; Arts and Humanities<br \/>\nArea D &#8211; Social Sciences<br \/>\nArea E &#8211; Lifelong Learning and Self-Development<\/p>\n<p>Specific Palomar Courses that will satisfy your undergraduate requirements and be accepted for transfer\u00a0can be found at the Counseling Center and by visiting\u00a0<a title=\"assist.org\" href=\"http:\/\/web1.assist.org\/web-assist\/PALOMAR.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.assist.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"IGETC\"><\/span>IGETC<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For the IGETC pathway, students will complete a minimum of 37 semester units (ALL with grades of C or better; C- grades are not accepted). \u00a0Requirements for the IGETC are:<\/p>\n<p>Area 1 &#8211; English Communication<br \/>\nArea 2 &#8211; Mathematical Concepts and Quantitative Reasoning<br \/>\nArea 3 &#8211;
