Louis N. Milstein, adjunct psychology professor, who has been\u00a0in the San Diego Community College system since 1977, made an initial contribution and contributions now from both his family\u2019s philanthropic fund and him have perpetuated the scholarship, giving annual awards to deserving Palomar college students who have exhibited academic excellence and a commitment to a career in psychology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The scholarships recognize 3 outstanding students each year with a scholarship to support their education. \u00a0Recipients for the Milstein Psi Beta Honors Psychology Scholarship must be a <u class=\"\">registered<\/u> member of Psi Beta (national honors society for psychology), demonstrate academic excellence, and have an intention to pursue a career in psychology.
