Palomar offers an Associate of Arts for Transfer (AA-T) degree in psychology. \u00a0The AA-T is an associates degree for students who intend to transfer to a 4-year university. \u00a0The benefit of obtaining the AA-T is that it guarantees you priority admission to a school in the CSU system. \u00a0Now, it does not guarantee you the school of your choice, but you at least KNOW that you will be continuing your education and working towards your career goals!<\/p>\n

AA-T Transfer Major<\/h4>\n

Psychology is a discipline that uses the scientific method to study animal and human behavior.\u00a0This Associate in Arts in Psychology for Transfer degree offers students the opportunity to meet lower division transfer requirements for a major in Psychology, leading to a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Psychology at a California State University (CSU).\u00a0Students who earn this degree will receive priority admissions at a CSU.\u00a0 The Associate in Arts in Psychology for Transfer degree is the first step in preparing students for professions and areas of interest related to psychology such as Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Medicine, Law, Management, Business, Social Work, and Teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
