The facility will include the following spaces:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Public restrooms serving the home side of the football stadium<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Concession stands for pre-packaged snacks and beverages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ticketing office<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Officials\u2019 locker room<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Football team locker room with associated restroom and shower facilities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Three football coaches\u2019 offices and a meeting room<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Equipment room for all athletics, including a laundry area<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Weight room serving all athletics and kinesiology programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training room supporting all athletics and kinesiology programs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fitness training room<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the project includes construction of a new 1,312 GSF single-story masonry building to house grounds maintenance equipment and materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Delivery Method:<\/strong> Construction Manager At-Risk (CM @ Risk)<br><strong>Project Cost: <\/strong>$29,000,000<br><strong>Construction Start Date:<\/strong> May 2025<br><strong>Completion Date:&nbsp;<\/strong>Projected October 2026<br><strong>Occupy Date:<\/strong> Projected October 2026<br><strong>Bond Series:<\/strong> C\/D<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sustainability Features:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Energy Consumption<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new Athletics and Kinesiology Fieldhouse utilize energy-efficient lighting and mechanical systems, along with a rooftop photovoltaic array to achieve Net Zero Energy Consumption. The building also incorporates automated operable clerestory windows to enhance natural ventilation and daylighting, further reducing lighting and HVAC energy demand.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Landscaping and Irrigation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The landscaping surrounding the new Fieldhouse will be irrigated using an on-campus irrigation well. The irrigation system employs water-efficient drip and bubbler systems that deliver water directly to the plant roots, minimizing evaporation and runoff- all of which significantly reduces the Campus\u2019s water utility consumption and expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Storm Water Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All stormwater runoff from impervious surfaces such as roofs, concrete and asphalt walkways, and roadways will be naturally filtered through on-site bio-retention basins before entering the public storm drain system.
