Please note:\u00a0 Under California law, any health practitioner employed in a health facility is required to make a report to law enforcement if he\/she provides medical services for a physical condition to a patient\/victim who he\/she knows or reasonably suspects is suffering from any wound or other physical injury inflicted upon a victim where the injury is the result of assaultive or abusive conduct (including sexual violence and relationship violence).\u00a0 This exception does not apply to sexual assault and domestic violence counselors or advocates in addition, you do not have to speak to law enforcement if you do not wish to.<\/p>\n
