In the event that a situation arises, either on or off campus, that in the judgment of the Chief of Police or his designee, constitutes an ongoing or continuing threat, a campus wide \u201cTimely Warning\u201d will be issued.\u00a0 The \u201cTimely Warning\u201d bulletins must be related to a crime that is reportable under the Clery Act or that represents a threat to the campus community, i.e. Murder, Manslaughter, Sex Offenses, Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Burglary, Vehicle Theft, and Arson.<\/p>\n
The \u201cTimely Warning\u201d bulletins will be emailed to the campus community, and posted on the Palomar College Police Department website.<\/p>\n
Anyone with information warranting a timely warning should report the circumstances to the\u00a0Palomar College\u00a0Police Department. The Chief of Police or his\/her designee will approve all \u201cTimely Warnings\u201d prior to posting.<\/p>\n
