This also applies to individuals using a state issued disabled placard permit or plate as adopted in the Palomar College <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/governingboard\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2017\/09\/BP-5757-Parking-adopted-7-11-17.pdf\">Board Policy<\/a>\u00a0 and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/governingboard\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/64\/2018\/07\/AP-5757-formerly-6750-Parking-Approved-5-16-17.pdf\">Administrative Policy<\/a>.\u00a0 Exceptions shall be made for users that have completed and submitted an application for &#8220;Planned Event Parking Permits&#8221;, and that have received approval by the Police Department. \u00a0Any application for such events must be received at a minimum of three (3) weeks prior to the planned event date.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: \u00a0The Palomar College Police Department is the\u00a0only\u00a0department authorized to issue vendor and\/or visitor parking permits. \u00a0Permits issued by\u00a0any\u00a0other department or entity are invalid unless authorized an authorized by the Police Department.<\/p>\n<h2>Parking Permit Fees:<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Students parking permits may be purchased online<\/strong><\/span> via the MyPalomar website <strong>(view step by step instructions on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/police\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/86\/2023\/10\/Updated-Digital-Parking-for-Students.pdf\">how to purchase a permit<\/a> [pdf]).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Los <strong>permisos de estacionamiento para estudiantes se pueden comprar en l\u00ednea<\/strong> a trav\u00e9s del sitio web MyPalomar (<strong>vea las instrucciones paso a paso sobre<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/police\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/86\/2025\/02\/How-to-Purchase-Permit-Palomar-SPANISH-STUDENT.pdf\">c\u00f3mo comprar un permiso<\/a> <strong>[pdf]).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Permit prices are:<\/p>\n<p>-Fall &amp; Spring semester: Automobiles $46.00 &#8211; Motorcycles $20.00<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Summer semester: Automobiles $34.00 &#8211; Motorcycles $20.00<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; (CCPG Waiver) CCPG Students parking permit is\u00a0$26.00 ** <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/fa\/cacollegepromisegrant\/\">click\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">here<\/span>\u00a0for CCPG<\/a> form to see if you are eligible.<\/p>\n<p>Student permits are valid\u00a0only\u00a0in designated student parking lots. Fees are subject to change without further notice.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">A Palomar College permit MUST\u00a0accompany a\u00a0disabled placard.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>** Only one discounted permit is allowed per semester. In order to be eligible for the lower fee, CCPG students must show proof of CCPG status by providing a printout of their Financial Aid status form at the time the permit is purchased. If a regular permit is purchased and the student becomes CCPG eligible at a later date, there will be no refunds issued.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Adding a Vehicle to your Permit:<\/strong><strong><br \/>\n<\/strong>Student can only register five vehicles per permit. Vehicles can be added by visiting the permit purchase website accessible through the College portal. Please enter all necessary information as directed on the page to add an additional vehicle to your existing permit. If you have reached your maximum allowance of vehicles, you will receive a prompt at the top of the page.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Refund Policy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It is the student\u2019s responsibility to request a refund by the deadline. For full semester-length classes, the refund deadline is the 13<sup>th<\/sup> day after the start day of the class. A student must officially drop or withdraw from a class by the published refund deadline. The following fees are subject to refund: enrollment, health, materials, and non-resident tuition. If the college cancels a class, students will need to request a refund.<br \/>\nParking Permit refunds can be requested by email through the Phoenix Group at <a href=\"mailto:clientrelations@phxgis.com\">clientrelations@phxgis.com \u00a0<\/a>.For questions regarding Parking Permit refunds, please contact the Police Department at 760-744-1150 x 3499.<\/p>\n<p>Students who paid for classes prior to receiving a California College Promise Grant (CCPG) will receive a refund after the semester refund deadline. For information related to waiver of enrollment fees, contact the Palomar College Financial Aid Office.<\/p>\n<p>The Palomar College Police Department enforces parking regulations seven (7) days a week, 24 hours a day.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"><strong>Beginning in the Fall of 2010 the\u00a0grace period was eliminated for not having a valid parking permit. \u00a0A parking permit is required 24\/7<\/strong><\/span>.<\/span> \u00a0As a result, all persons or parties parking on campus property must adhere to the respective procedures listed below.<\/p>\n<h2>Students:<\/h2>\n<p>A parking permit is required for the lawful parking of every registered vehicle on district property. All permits must be valid for the current semester in session. Students must:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Purchase a valid semester parking permit or a daily parking pass through the ParkMobile app.<\/li>\n<li>Legally Park in a designated space within a Student Parking Lot<\/li>\n<li>Properly adhere to all conditions specified upon, the semester and\/or daily parking pass<\/li>\n<li>Students or staff are not permitted to park in visitor spaces.<\/li>\n<li>The college is closed from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am.\u00a0 Overnight parking is prohibited after 11:00 pm unless previously arranged by the Palomar College Police Department.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parking policy: Any individual or group utilizing district facilities must be legally parked and properly displaying a valid parking permit as issued by the college to any vendors visiting campus.
