Palomar College offers a Flex Week prior to the Fall and Spring Semesters, with a designated All College Day comprised of College Updates, <\/span>student focused work, <\/span>and department\/division\/constituency group meetings.\u00a0 Both <\/span>Fall<\/span>\u00a0and Spring offer a plethora of\u00a0<\/span>training<\/span>s, capped off with a day filled with information and updates about Palomar and the new semester. <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

These weeks within our academic calendar are dedicated to employee learning and are just one example of the many professional development training opportunities that occur throughout the year.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Spring 2026 Flex Week (January 16-23) will be upon us sooner than we think. We will have a variety of trainings that are designed and offered in HyFlex, Zoom, or our Come Together (In-Person Only) modalities. These offered greater equity and accessibility across our campuses to benefit all of our employees. We are accepting requests for Workshops\/Trainings and Division\/Department Meetings for this fantastic week. You can submit your requests:<\/span><\/h5>\n

The All College Day Updates and our student focused work, as well as various department\/division\/constituency group meetings, will take place on during this week and will engage with the following schedule either via our Come Together (In-Person Only), HyFlex, or Zoom modalities:<\/span><\/div>\n

07:30 – 09:00 am: Meet and Greet with Breakfast (Come Together)<\/p>\n

09:00 – 11:50 am: All-College Student Focused Work & Updates from College Leadership (Come Together)<\/p>\n

12:00 – 01:00 pm: Lunch (Come Together)<\/p>\n

01:15 – 02:15 pm: PFF\/Senate and CCE Meetings (Varies)<\/p>\n

02:30 – 03:45 pm: Division Meetings (Varies)<\/p>\n

04:00 – 05:00 pm: Department Meetings (Varies)<\/p>\n

With a fantastic Fall Flex Week behind us, we look ahead to our Spring Flex Week (January 16-23). We look forward to having you join us and if you would like to present a training during Flex Week (January 16-21) or schedule a Division or Department Meeting on January 22 (Thursday) – Request to Present a Workshop\/Meeting<\/em><\/a><\/span> submission form.<\/span><\/h5>\n
All workshops and sessions will be held either HyFlex (in-person with a Zoom option),via Zoom, or in our Come Together (In-Person) modalities. The modality is noted in the schedule and with your registration invites from the Portal. Check back frequently for new updates and additions. There are sessions where a “Come To” event will be held, which will be entirely in person, so be on the look out for those.<\/span><\/h5>\n
