She has also performed abroad including the Estates Theater, Smetana Hall, Dvorak\u2019s Home, and Teatro Aguascalientes.<\/p>\n<p data-wp-editing=\"1\">As a Grammy member, she has recorded with artists across the globe, incorporating the oboe in various genres of music. Emilia has been a part of albums that have been nominees for the Hollywood Music and Media Awards, and have won Global Music Awards. Through these recordings, she hopes to expand the musical genres in which oboe can be found, including Jewish-Indian fusion, Chill, House, and Children&#8217;s Music.<\/p>\n<p data-wp-editing=\"1\">\nLopez-Ya\u00f1ez is a faculty member at Palomar College and MiraCosta College, where she teaches oboe performance while also maintaining her own private studio where she teaches private oboe lessons and reed-making masterclasses online and in-person.<\/p>\n<p data-wp-editing=\"1\">\nEmilia Lopez-Ya\u00f1ez\u00a0 completed her Graduate Certificate in 2020 and\u00a0 Masters in Oboe Performance Degree at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA.
