Join us every Thursday at the Howard Brubeck Theatre on the San Marcos Campus for a FREE LIVE Concert Hour Performance at the Howard Brubeck Theatre on the Palomar College Campus, San Marcos. Palomar Performing Arts is excited to open its doors to our students, staff and community members for our Free Concert Hour Series in person every Thursday at 1pm LIVE on the Howard Brubeck Theatre Stage.
Concert Hour is a FREE music enrichment series presented for our students and the community by the Palomar College Performing Arts Department.
Parking is Free in lots 1 & 15 during Concert Hour.
Caroline Nelms is a versatile singer who frequently performs musical theater, opera and jazz throughout Southern California. Caroline holds a Master of Music degree from UCLA and a BA from Pepperdine and has been performing professionally in various genres for over twenty years. She was recently seen as The Beggar Woman (Sweeney Todd) with OBCTheater and as The Woman in White (Welcome to Sleepy Hollow) with Oceanside Theater Company. Caroline was also seen as Fantine (Les Mis), Mrs. Banks (Mary Poppins) and The Wardrobe (Beauty and the Beast) with Theatre Royale Tours and appeared as Dot Button in the world premiere of The Dollmaker with Megill and Co. On the opera side, Caroline has sung Pamina in The Magic Flute (Lyric Opera Orange County), Micaela in Carmen (Pacific Lyric), Gilda in Rigoletto (Guild Opera LA) and Gretel in Hansel and Gretel (Inland Valley Opera). She is a frequent soloist with the San Diego City Ballet, Center Chorale, Pacific Coast Chorale, Southern California Philharmonic, Temecula Valley and Coachella Valley Symphonies and sings with San Diego Opera Chorus. Caroline worked as a library research coordinator at GIA in Carlsbad for over 18 years and Caroline enjoys mountain biking with her family and enjoying the outdoors.
