.PACRA held its thirty-first annual meeting on Thursday, April 21 at the Old Spaghetti Factory in San Marcos It was the first in-person Annual Meeting since 2019 due to the pandemic.While not as well attended as pre-pandemic meetings, it was a good beginning to getting back to pre-pandemic activities and those attending enthusiastically enjoyed the in-person renewal of friendships and acquaintances of former colleagues. After enjoying lunch, the group had the pleasure of listening to Palomar’s new President, Star Rivera-Lacey, our guest speaker, relate her personal story that led her to Palomar College, the current state of the college and her vision for the college going forward. Dr. Rivera-Lacey was followed by Stacey Rungatis, the Executive Director of the Palomar College Foundation, who described the many programs that the Foundation funds to help ensure the success of Palomar students. A short business meeting concluded the day’s program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
