About Orientation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The New Student Orientation is part of Step 3: Launch Your Success<\/strong> in your Steps to Enroll<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Your New Student Orientation will give you a great head start at Palomar College. Students who complete their orientation are better prepared to achieve their academic, career, and personal goals. After completing your orientation, you will be ready to begin your academic planning and register for classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Orientation can be completed online at your convenience in your MyPalomar<\/a> account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Steps to Complete Your New Student Orientation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Sign in to\u00a0MyPalomar<\/a>\u00a0using your Palomar Student ID # and Password.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Under \u201cMy Information\u201d then under \u201cHolds\u201d, click on the New Student Orientation found on the right side.
    Please note, while this is under the Holds tab, it does\u00a0NOT<\/strong>\u00a0place any holds on your account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. This will take you to a new login screen where you will use your Palomar Student ID # and Password to enter the Orientation. (Be sure to allow pop-ups.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Review orientation and complete the short quiz at the end.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    This online orientation should take approximately 30 minutes to complete.\u00a0\u00a0When you pass the quiz, your record is automatically updated within 24 hours to show completion of the orientation.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    It is recommended that you\u00a0not\u00a0use Internet Explorer to access MyPalomar, Orientation, Canvas, etc.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
