The CVC only includes <strong>fully online<\/strong> courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\" style=\"border-width:1px;border-radius:6px;margin-top:15px;margin-bottom:25px;padding-top:12px;padding-right:12px;padding-bottom:12px;padding-left:12px\">\n<p><strong>Important:<\/strong> The CVC only includes fully online classes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What You Can Do<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For Palomar Students<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are a Palomar student, you can use the CVC to search for and enroll in fully online classes offered by other California community colleges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">For Students at Other Colleges<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If your main college is not Palomar, you may still be able to take a fully online Palomar class through the CVC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How It Works<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Using the CVC is usually a simple process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to the CVC Course Exchange.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select your <strong>Home College<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for the class you need.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check whether the class says <strong>Add Class<\/strong> or <strong>Apply<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\" style=\"border-width:1px;border-radius:6px;margin-top:15px;margin-bottom:25px;padding-top:12px;padding-right:12px;padding-bottom:12px;padding-left:12px\">\n<p><strong>What to look for in CVC search results:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Add Class<\/strong> = you can cross-enroll through the CVC and follow the steps to register.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Apply<\/strong> = you may need to apply to that college before you can register.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Important Terms You\u2019ll See<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Home College<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Your primary college is your <strong>Home College<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Teaching College<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The college offering the class you take through the CVC is your <strong>Teaching College<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who Helps With What?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>When you take a class through the CVC, different colleges help with different parts of your experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Financial aid:<\/strong> Contact your <strong>Home College<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Academic or degree planning:<\/strong> Contact your <strong>Home College<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Disability services or accommodations:<\/strong> Contact the <strong>Teaching College<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Course questions:<\/strong> Contact your instructor at the <strong>Teaching College<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Canvas login help:<\/strong> Start with your <strong>Home College<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Canvas course issues in the exchange class:<\/strong> You may also need help from the <strong>Teaching College<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>When in doubt, start with your Home College.
