Hands-on, evidence-based instruction, mentoring, and a practical clinical component will build on the educational experience already achieved in preparing for your RN license. In fact, recommendations from the Institute of Medicine call for the proportion of nurses with baccalaureate degrees to be increased to 80 percent by 2020.
