{"id":9105,"date":"2025-03-10T10:24:04","date_gmt":"2025-03-10T17:24:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/news\/?p=9105"},"modified":"2025-03-10T10:24:04","modified_gmt":"2025-03-10T17:24:04","slug":"bond-rating-service-affirms-strong-bond-rating-for-palomar-college","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.palomar.edu\/news\/bond-rating-service-affirms-strong-bond-rating-for-palomar-college\/","title":{"rendered":"Bond Rating Service Affirms Strong Bond Rating for Palomar College"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>SAN MARCOS, CA (March 10, 2025) &#8211; <\/strong>A bond rating service has affirmed its AA General Obligation Bond Rating for the Palomar Community College District, finding that the district has a stable financial outlook.<\/p>\n<p>In its report published February 26, S &amp; P Global Ratings said the rating reflects the District\u2019s rising enrollment since the pandemic, a large and expanding property tax base, and an experienced leadership team. The report found that the district has sufficient financial liquidity to absorb any projected deficits and said district leadership plans to adjust future budgets to achieve and maintain structural balance and healthy financial resources.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have been steadfast in our commitment to improving the fiscal stability of the District and the results are significant.
