\n<\/em><\/strong>Exploring Darwin Conference \u2013 <\/strong>a series of talks by scientists, researchers, writers, faculty and faculty emeriti from Palomar College, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State San Marcos, University of San Diego, the Salk Institute and the Center for Academic Research and Training in Anthropology (CARTA).<\/p>\n

Why:
\n<\/em><\/strong>This lecture series is designed to illustrate how Darwin\u2019s Theory of Natural Selection applies to a wide range of disciplines in both the natural and social sciences, and to inform students about current research in various fields.<\/p>\n

Who is invited:
\n<\/em><\/strong>Everyone \u2013 Palomar College students, faculty and staff, and community members. Faculty members are encouraged to bring their classes or provide extra credit assignments for attending students.\u00a0 Sign-in sheets\u00a0will keep track of attending\u00a0students. Attendance is limited to the capacity of each room. Palomar College students will be given first priority.<\/p>\n

Cost:
\n<\/em><\/strong>Free.<\/p>\n

Parking:
\n<\/em><\/strong>Members of the community may \u00a0park for free in any white spaces in Lots 1 and 2 until 4 p.m. \u00a0Payment is required for metered spaces designated as visitor parking.<\/p>\n
