Funded by a $400,000 donation, the Center will replace the college\u2019s faculty and staff lounge in the Student Union area of the San Marcos campus.<\/p>\n<p>The Palomar College Office of Student Affairs has operated a food pantry for 34 years, providing weekly food distributions and longer-term support for students who need it, but the program has outgrown its current home.<\/p>\n<p>For now, the campus food pantry is limited to dry goods and same-day distribution of produce.
