Guests will need to obtain a \u201cVisitor\u201d parking permit from the Palomar College Police Department, and then may park in Lots 1 & 2.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n
Why:<\/b><\/p>\n
In observance of Veterans Day, the College will come together at the campus Veterans Memorial (in front of the flag pole) for a ceremony honoring all those who have served and are serving their country.\u00a0 This Fall semester, Palomar College is serving over 1,500 veterans, current active duty or current military dependents.\u00a0 Palomar College has a rich history of serving veteran students \u2013 the College\u2019s first class in 1946 was largely comprised of students just returning from World War II.\u00a0 The College\u2019s Veterans Service Office is one of the longest-serving veterans services offices at a community college in the state.<\/p>\n

Students, veterans, College officials and community dignitaries will congregate. College officials will commemorate the occasion.<\/p>\n
