Event Details:

Please join us at the Palomar College Cactus & Succulent Garden as the USPS San Diego District Office unveils its Forever Cactus Flowers Stamp Series, featuring specimens from the celebrated Cactus & Succulent Garden at Palomar College.

Established in 1964, the Palomar College Cactus & Succulent Gardens exist on two and a half acres located north of Mission Road and east of Comet Circle in San Marcos. The gardens have over 800 varieties of plants in two sections, one fenced and one un-fenced. The larger section (un-fenced) has an area of approximately 1.6 “untouched” acres. This event will be held in the smaller fenced area which is approximately .9 acres and has many rare and mature plant specimens.

The garden is usually only open to the public by appointment, and the USPS stamp unveiling is a unique opportunity to see a special sanctuary tucked away on North County’s largest college campus. The garden pathways are natural and if you plan to attend the event, please wear comfortable walking shoes.

Directions and parking:

The Cactus & Succulent Garden is located off West Mission Road and Comet Circle East. Upon entrance to the garden, there will be signage directing guests to the event area.

Parking will be available in Lot 3, next to the garden on Comet Circle East.
