Produced by the students of the College’s Emmy Award winning Digital Broadcast Arts program, Palomar Live airs Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. on Palomar College TV from September 18 through December 4, 2014. In special cooperation with the San Diego Office of Education, the program airs countywide on Cox and Time Warner cable, Channel 16 and AT&T Channel 99. Live streaming of the program can be seen at

“These students are producing programs that are professional, inspiring and entertaining to viewers,” said Lisa Faas, Executive Producer and Professor of Media Studies at Palomar College. “We hope our content resonates with audiences and provides a fresh video magazine program they can watch and enjoy. The show gives students excellent hands-on broadcast experiences, both on-screen and behind-the scenes.”

The production of Palomar Live adds a new live TV morning show to the award-winningNorth County News and Prep Sports Live broadcasting programs produced in the Media Studies Department at Palomar College.
